From November 3rd-5th, the Ignite Worship band loaded up our vehicles and headed east. We were invited to lead Worship at the SCIPHC Girls Retreat at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC. This was the second year in a row we have led Worship at this retreat and we absolutely LOVE it! Being a part of an experience where anyone's life is changed is an incredible thing, even more so when it is the younger generation. There were so many girls who gave their lives to Jesus on Saturday night. Samantha McCutcheon delivered a powerful and anointed Word to these young girls in such a way that the girls were able to pick up and retain as they returned home to help strengthen their walk with the Lord.
Our Ignite team was also able to fellowship with one another and plan for 2018. I truly enjoy this time because it gives our group a chance to reflect and reconnect with how Ignite began and then improve upon that foundation to plan for the upcoming year. We have many exciting initiatives coming this next year and we are excited to be growing within our Worship band AND our Bible study group. Looking forward to see what God has in store for us!
