The Sensational Seniors have had a BUSY year!!
- We've made numerous little binkies for stillborn babies @ Carolina's and McLeod's Hospitals
- Did baked items for Ed Nealey's Fundraiser w/Cooks for Christ and donated $100 for the cause
- Made angel pins for Mother's Day
- Carried meal to Alice Gunter when Mr. Marion passed
- Gift Card to Teresa Young when her mother passed
- Did the Botanical Garden Pressing Flower Class in Lake City
- Hand painted some cinder blocks to put in yards
- $125 donation for Recovery Bibles for Women's Prison
- $250 donated for new Christmas decorations for Church
- Have made numerous prayer shawls and distributed to those that needed a special touch from God
Most recent: We made Christmas Trees- we did (50) for Hospice Center in Pageland along w/50 toboggans, we did (90) for Medford Center in Darlington-and are finishing up (100) toboggans given to John Spires for his outreach ministry
So if you want to know what we do- this is a brief list of creations throughout the year-and if you want to know what we spend the money on that we raise- this is it. Most of the things we make we buy and contribute out of our pockets- and use the funds to help those in need. We would love for anyone who has free time on their hands-looking for something to do, to come out and join us on Monday's @ 10:00 AM in the fellowship hall- we work hard, fellowship even harder and go eat 'good'!
